After a new belt is installed on the coal conveying belt, it moves back and forth at the tensioning drum. What could be the reason for this, and how should it be addressed? Seeking advice from experts
The belt is loose; adjust the bolts on both sides of the tensioning barrel
Start the conveyor belt and gradually adjust the tension bolts.
1. The tension force after belt replacement was not adjusted properly； 2. Poor vulcanization quality when replacing the belt, poor alignment of the joints, deviation or misalignment, or unevenness ； 3. Operational issues, such as coal sticking to the direction-changing drum and the drive drum, caused by poor performance of the idler cleaners
If it’s a new adhesive tape, try it out by moving it back and forth; it seems that the joint isn’t stuck in the right place
