When nuts made of steel materials such as 30CrMoA, 35CrMoA and 40CrNiMoA are used at temperatures below -20°C, do they need to be subjected to low-temperature impact?

GB 150.2.7.1 .4.b) (P66) stipulates that when the service temperature of studs made of steel materials such as 30CrMoA, 35CrMoA and 40CrNiMoA is lower than -20℃, they can be used after low-temperature impact energy testing according to the specifications. When nuts are made of these materials (according to Table 14), why can they be used without low-temperature impact and the temperature can reach -70℃? Do nuts also need to meet GB? 150.2.7.1 .4.c) conditions
GB/T150.2-2011 does not require nuts to be made. For the temperature range of commonly used nut materials, see Table 15 (steel for carbon steel and low alloy steel nuts) and Table 17 (steel for high alloy nuts) of GB/T150.2-2-11. The fasteners for pipe flanges and container flanges are specified in the corresponding standards and specifications.
I saw this table, and I want to know that the studs made of the same material need to be subjected to low-temperature impact, but the nuts do not need to be subjected to low-temperature impact, and there are also requirements for trace element content (GB 150.2.7.1 .4.C(P66))
This post was last edited by Niu Niuhu on 2020-5-12 18:31. We have recently chosen -70℃ standard parts. Nuts are not subject to low temperature impact. Nuts must also meet GB 150.2.7.1 .4.c) conditions, otherwise your impact will not be up to standard!
