Now that we know the design pressure is 1.6, can we calculate the operating pressure?
Work pressure is a process requirement and is independent of the equipment
If it is in a pure gas phase, then it is the pressure required under the process conditions, not one that is calculated. There are also those that operate at the gas-liquid saturation pressure of the same medium, and this can be calculated ; There are also cases involving the gas-liquid saturation pressure of mixed media, which can still be calculated.

Working pressure and working temperature, as design parameters, are provided in writing by the client to the design firm; therefore, the working pressure must be specified first, and the design firm will then determine the design pressure by appropriately increasing this value.
The operating pressure of the equipment is determined by the process engineering team; the operating pressure for each individual piece of equipment is established based on the overall operating pressure of the system
It is determined by the manufacturing process of the device; during calculations, the operating pressure and temperature are determined based on the reaction pathway as well as the changes in entropy and enthalpy. For the container design unit, these data are provided by the client
The medium is water and water vapor, and its operating pressure is generally the saturated vapor pressure at the water temperature.
