As the title suggests: loose-flange type. The loose ring is made of carbon steel, while the welded ring is made of stainless steel. Is it necessary to paint the loose ring before installing it? It seems that sometimes it’s better to apply the loose ring first and then paint it, as it’s difficult to paint the loose ring properly.
