Reasons for abnormal rupture of the burst disc on the butadiene tank
There are many reasons: pressure and temperature settings, usage time, and the specific circumstances need to be considered.
The maximum operating pressure is 0.8 MPa, while the set pressure of the burst disc is 1.0 MPa; it is connected in series with a safety valve. It was just replaced a couple of days ago, and it exploded again before the pressure reached that level. It’s of the reverse-arch type

The design of the burst disc has an excessively low bursting temperature, or a torque wrench was not used during installation as required; the former is more likely.
The tank is designed for a pressure of 1.0 MPa and a temperature of 25 degrees. The set pressure of the burst disc is 1.0 MPa at a temperature of 25 degrees; normal operation takes place between 15 and 20 degrees
If the parameters of the rupture disc are selected correctly, it is necessary to check whether the media on either side of the rupture disc can cause corrosion of its material. Additionally, if the rupture disc has an inverted arch shape, it cannot be used in fully liquid-phase conditions. If possible, you could provide pictures of the blast discs
