Has anyone with experience done the relocation of pressure vessels across administrative districts? Are the procedures complicated? Which standard should be referred to?
The content related to large capacity specifications is not very detailed.
Register with the relevant departments at the relocation site, but all the documents must be complete
Regulations on the Registration and Management of Boiler and Pressure Vessels, Chapter 3
Written approval from the supervision authorities in both locations is required; the original inspection agency must be deregistered, and then re-registered with the supervision authority at the new location. Equipment that exceeds size limits, etc., is not allowed to be moved or relocated. Under normal circumstances, only the approval of the local supervisory authority is required, followed by a re-inspection. The new capacity regulations do not require inspection for relocation.
The Management Measures for the Registration of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Use has been replaced by the Rules for the Management of Pressure Vessel Use, TSG R5002-2013, and the Rules for the Management of Pressure Vessel Use in turn have been replaced by the General Regulations on Pressure Vessels, TSG 21; P
It is also mentioned in the detailed regulations, within TSG08
Well, I checked the safety technical specifications, and the requirements there are the same as what you mentioned. There is a requirement for inspection after relocation, but I’m not sure what exactly the inspection items are
