There are practical examples of MVR steam compressors capable of achieving a temperature rise of 20 to 40 degrees with a pressure ratio of around 4.5, along with 3-effect evaporators of the MVR type that can achieve a 32-degree temperature rise and an evaporation capacity of 8 tons; such systems have been in normal operation for nearly 2 years. These examples can be used as a basis for energy-saving upgrades to existing systems, or for handling materials with particularly high boiling points. There is no specific requirement regarding temperature; lower temperatures are preferred. Since the volume of steam is large, the equipment needs to be larger and more expensive.
