The flat-coiled tube heating system enables precise temperature control for both heating and insulation. For low-temperature heating, the waste heat from refineries and coal chemical plants can be utilized; for intensive heating, heat transfer oil is used, while calcium chloride solution is employed for insulation. This system is an invention patent product system; its greatest advantage lies in the use of waste heat for heating, which means there are no operating costs and it can operate stably over a long period of time. Safety is suitable for pipeline heating in the current petrochemical industry.
I was wondering if there are any materials available on this?
What are the advantages over traditional heat tracing? What’s the cost?
Hello! Thank you for your interest. This is a straightforward heating system, and I have just uploaded photos for you. I wonder if you saw it?
Hello! Thank you for your interest. Its advantage lies in precise temperature control and maintenance of a constant temperature, which prevents the safety issues associated with potential vaporization that can occur in material processing pipelines due to uncontrolled temperatures. At the same time, due to the use of surface heat conduction with flat toroidal tubes having the same curvature as the material pipes, the efficiency is high, thereby saving energy. Of course, the cost is higher than that of traditional ones due to the different structure, but its overall cost-performance ratio is high thanks to its good stability and durability. Thank you! I’m very interested in this system. Please let me know how to get in touch for more details
My contact number is: 13053440022. There are currently three materials available for heating or insulation of flat hollow tubes: 1. Polymer PERT material can be used for heating at temperatures below 80 degrees Celsius for an entire period of 20 years, without the need to worry about metal electrochemical corrosion. 2. Polymer flat insulated tubes and stainless steel flat insulated tubes can also be treated with calcium chloride solution for cooling at -30 degrees Celsius. Aluminum alloy flat tube of grade 3.6063 is suitable for heavy heat tracing with antifreeze temperatures ranging from 80~120 degrees and 150~237 degrees. Pilot tests of this product have been conducted, with satisfactory results. At the same time, we are developing polymer-based non-metallic heat exchangers, and a patent application is in progress. This product has good corrosion resistance and is primarily designed for the utilization of waste heat from highly corrosive formation waters in oil fields.
I saw the photos you sent and am quite interested in this; I have a few questions: 1. Is it similar to jacketed heating? 2. Is the cost lower than that of jacketed heating? 3. What are the requirements of this system regarding the heating medium? Currently, steam or hot water is commonly used for heating in refineries; is there any possibility or value in using an alternative to these mediums for this system? Or it is suitable for heat tracing in areas where precise temperature control is required. 4. Is construction convenient? 5. What is the degree of flexibility in design? For example, if there are changes in the layout of pipes on site, is it easy to modify the heat tracing for that area? 6. Are there any existing performance records from applications? How effective is it?
Thank you for your attention! 1. It should not be similar to a \"jacketed tube\"; if it is similar, an invention patent will not be granted. 2. There are two options for the cost aspect: 2.1 For heavy heat tracing at temperatures of 80–237 degrees, 6063 aviation aluminum is used, which is durable. I haven’t used jacketed tubes, so I’m unable to compare prices at the moment. Sorry! For version 2.2, when the temperature is below 80 degrees, the use of Pert polymer materials results in a lower cost and makes construction easier. 3. The heating medium used in this system is soft water, antifreeze, or heat transfer oil, which presents certain trends in terms of the stability and reliability of heating the materials during the processing process. Now, almost all operations take place under controlled or multi-level controlled conditions; therefore, this system enables controlled operation as well as remote monitoring by implementing a multi-level temperature control cycle with a heat conductor coating. 4. The installation of aluminum alloys may be more complicated than that of cladding tubes; polymers are simpler to work with in terms of cladding tubes. 5. It is flexible in design; in fact, the flat hollow tube is a deformed circular tube. The direction remains unchanged; there may be an issue with installation space. Since the current thickness of the flat hollow tube is 20 mm, it can of course be adjusted locally depending on the heat tracing power. 6. So far, only pilot tests and flat-seamed tubes for 159 industrial pipes have been carried out; now preparations are being made to create molds for petroleum benzene pipelines with diameters of 89 and 300, to be used at Yumen Refining and Chemical Plant. If heated using a heating system like yours, what is the heating efficiency? For example, heating tap water from 0°C to 200°C℃
