I am a product selection specialist in the company (a beginner). Recently, I noticed that for components of sleeve valves that are exposed to high temperatures, the traditional chromium plating process is no longer used; instead, nickel-phosphorus plating is employed for hardening these components. For some valve components, nitriding is also used at high temperatures. Therefore, I would like to understand the differences between these three processes: nickel-phosphorus plating, chromium plating, and nitriding.
