Is the pressure used for the individual hydrostatic tests of the heat exchange tubes in the feedwater preheater of the medium-pressure boiler in ammonia synthesis identical to the pressure used for the pressure test of the equipment’s tube side? I would like to consult the experts.
Each heat exchange tube is pressurized with water, and the pressure should generally be higher than the test pressure for the tube side. The minimum value is equal to the piping test pressure.
