Spiral plate heat exchangers are common heat exchange devices in chemical, domestic, and industrial heat exchange systems. Its take over is an important component of the heat exchanger, and the installation requirements are also quite strict. Below, the editor will briefly outline the precautions for installing the connections on spiral plate heat exchangers: 1. The connections should be level with the inner surface of the flange ; 2. The inlet and outlet ports for hot and cold fluids in the pipes should match those on the heat exchanger; to facilitate maintenance, it is advisable to use short sections when connecting the pipes to the heat exchanger ; 3. The nozzles should be arranged as much as possible radially or axially along the spiral plate heat exchanger ; 4. When the temperature requirement is 300°C or higher, butt-welded flanges should be used ; 5. Temperature gauge interfaces, pressure gauge interfaces, and level gauge interfaces should be provided when necessary ; 6. For heat exchangers that cannot be vented or drained through connections (or interfaces), a vent should be installed at the highest point of the equipment and a drain at the lowest point, with a minimum nominal diameter of 20 mm ; 7. Spiral plate heat exchangers can be equipped with an overflow port. When installing and operating spiral plate heat exchangers, it is necessary to thoroughly understand the relevant installation and operation procedures as well as precautions, in order to ensure their normal and stable operation during use, and to minimize any damage to the heat exchanger caused by damaged components.
Try to avoid damage to the heat exchanger caused by damage to its components
