These days, screw types are generally preferred, with reciprocating types being used much less often. Compared to the latter, the advantages of screw types include: lower failure rate, lower maintenance costs, lower energy consumption, higher efficiency, better overall performance, and less space requirement; The downside is that it’s a bit more expensive; due to its relatively complex structure, higher technical skills are required for maintenance.
First centrifugal compressor, second screw compressor; no others!
Check the cooling capacity; a larger centrifuge is suitable
For small scales, choose screw type; for large scales, choose centrifugal type. Reciprocating type is not recommended
The reciprocating type has a high operating temperature. Screw compressors have low power. Centrifugal investment is high.
For achieving low temperatures, screw compressors are a better choice as they are suitable for harsh operating conditions. Centrifuges are generally used for cooling purposes in air conditioning applications; there are very few cases where multi-stage centrifuges are used to achieve low temperatures.
Is the internal pressure ratio of the screw adjustable? ? When the pressure of the ammonia tank is low in winter, the drop in current isn’t significant, right?
