In accordance with the Provisions on Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment issued by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, Order No. 4, Shaanxi Qingshui Yinquan Coal Industry Development Co., Ltd. commissioned Zhongsheng Environmental Technology Development Co., Ltd. to prepare the Environmental Impact Report for its 2×60,000 tons/year Melamine Project. The company has also made the draft report available to the public for comments. Now, it intends to submit this report to the Shaanxi Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment for approval. To gather public opinions regarding the environmental impacts of this project, the following information is being made public:
(1) The full text of the report prepared for submission, along with the explanation on public participation, can be found in the attachments to this announcement. (II) Scope of the public seeking opinions: Citizens, legal persons, and other organizations within the area bounded by Tuwei River, Yushang Expressway, and Hongliugou, extending westward to Xiaobabao. (III) Link to the public opinion form: See attachment.
