Around 5 p.m. on October 15, the two highly anticipated high-pressure urea processing units arrived safely at the Weinan West highway exit. The Materials Procurement Department attached great importance to this matter and promptly sent personnel to greet the delivery vehicle. As these were special-type equipment, the delivery vehicle followed the designated route to enter the factory premises. The high-pressure equipment at the first-phase urea production site is a core and critical component of the company’s urea manufacturing facility; it was put into use in the 1990s. The aging of this equipment has become a serious bottleneck that hinders the company’s urea production. Following the company’s decision, new high-pressure urea equipment equipped with advanced international technology has been introduced. The arrival of the new equipment will completely resolve the bottleneck in our company’s urea production. This procurement task for special equipment was extremely difficult; after the purchase contract was signed, the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in South Korea, which severely affected the delivery timeline for the equipment. Even after the equipment was manufactured, the world was still in a period of pandemic control. Moreover, the shipping procedures are rather complicated and time-consuming. The Materials Procurement Department overcame numerous difficulties and focused on communication and coordination for a long time. The two high-voltage devices finally arrived successfully today. The third device is in the final stages of shipping procedures and will arrive at the company next week.
