In the Panjin area, the price of methanol has risen by 40 yuan per ton, reaching 1600–1640 yuan per ton when delivered against cash; in the Shenyang area, the price has increased by 20–30 yuan per ton, reaching 1680–1710 yuan per ton for cash delivery. With rising shipping costs, traders have raised the prices at which they sell the product. In Xinjiang, the price of methanol remains stable at 880–920 yuan per ton at ex-plant cash price, with a weak trading atmosphere ； The price of methanol outside Xinjiang remains stable at 930–980 yuan per ton ex-plant in cash terms. For supplies from factories outside Xinjiang to the Ningxia region, the price is 1380 yuan per ton including taxes, and transactions proceed smoothly. The negotiated price of methanol in the Dongying area of Shandong remains stable at 1,530–1,550 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash; transaction volume is relatively low. It is expected that prices in the market may rise slightly in the afternoon. In the Guanzhong region of Shaanxi, the price of methanol remained stable this week at 1,400–1,480 yuan per ton ex-plant in cash terms. In the second half of the week, factories focused on fulfilling existing contract orders, with modest activity in concluding new deals. The methanol market in Fujian region is seeing price increases; in some of the main storage areas, prices have risen by 10 yuan per ton, reaching around 1670–1680 yuan per ton including taxes. Transactions are mainly on a small scale, with little replenishment by end-users.
