Author/Source: Xi’an Aerospace Yuanpower Engineering Co., Ltd. Date: 2021-08-26. Clicks: 26. On August 20, the newly built desulfurization tower at Shenmu Chemical of Energy Group began operating successfully and met emission standards, marking the successful commissioning of the company’s first integrated ultra-low emission renovation project that combines ammonia-based desulfurization, SCR denitration, and electrostatic dust removal. The project team developed a technical approach to meet the owner’s requirements for reducing emissions of smoke dust, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and other pollutants. It overcame various technical challenges such as those related to electrostatic dust removal upgrades and integrated exhaust gas treatment systems, thereby enabling the sequential application of multiple air pollution control technologies throughout the entire process. It is reported that once the project is put into operation, it will be able to reduce emissions by 36 tons of dust, 600 tons of sulfur dioxide, and 180 tons of nitrogen oxides per year. Additionally, 12,300 tons of sulfuric acid and chemical fertilizers will be produced as by-products, which meets the requirements of the **dual-carbon strategy. The project team will strive for excellence, address any shortcomings, and complete the remaining completion tasks with both quality and quantity ensured, continuing to work hard to create a top-notch project!
