In the Panjin area, methanol prices remain stable at 1,600–1,610 yuan per ton, on a cash-on-delivery basis. In the Shenyang area, methanol prices are also steady at 1,720–1,730 yuan per ton, also on a cash-on-delivery basis. Traders are reporting average sales volumes, while downstream buyers are largely adopting a wait-and-see attitude. In Linfen, Shanxi, the prevailing transaction price for the lower-end grades has dropped by 20 yuan per ton, to between 1380–1430 yuan per ton, with delivery on a cash basis ； The offline price in the Changzhi area has stabilized at 1,500 yuan per ton, with delivery against cash payment ； The prevailing transaction price in the Jincheng area has stabilized at 1,420 yuan per ton, delivered in cash ； There are no auctions available in the Lüliang area for now ； In the Yuncheng area, the prevailing transaction price has stabilized at 1,400 yuan per ton, with delivery against cash payment ； The prevailing transaction price in the Datong area has stabilized at 1,370 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash. Currently, company shipments are average, with trading and downstream purchases being made as needed. In the methanol market in southern Shandong, the prevailing quotes have dropped by 20–40 yuan per ton, to around 1520–1550 yuan per ton in cash terms; some deals can be negotiated. In Linyi, the price for locally sourced goods is around 1520 yuan per ton, without invoices. Quotations for goods transported via logistics are rather inconsistent, and there is no clear prevailing price at present. Demand from downstream buyers remains cautious, and companies are currently maintaining a steady attitude. In the Anhui region, the reference prices for methanol in the market have dropped by 30 yuan per ton, to between 1,550 and 1,600 yuan per ton for delivery on credit. Companies have high inventory levels, so sales drive market dynamics. In the northern Jiangsu methanol market, quotes remain relatively stable at around 1,550 yuan per ton on a spot basis. Market sentiment is firm, and manufacturers’ outlook remains steady; however, trading activity is currently mediocre. The methanol market in the southwestern Yunnan and Guizhou regions is fluctuating weakly. The prices offered by the major methanol producers in Yunnan and Guizhou range from 1,650 to 1,700 yuan per ton in cash upon delivery; however, actual prices are determined on a case-by-case basis, with overall reductions of 30 to 50 yuan per ton. Some companies that are undergoing maintenance have stopped reporting prices. The price at the consumption site in Nanning, Guangxi, where delivery and trading take place, has dropped to around 1700–1730 yuan per ton in cash terms; prices slightly higher or lower have also been reported. Market buying and selling are limited, and the trading sentiment is weak. The methanol market in Fujian has declined; prices in major storage areas remain relatively stable at around 1610–1620 yuan per ton including taxes. There is limited demand in the market, and most suppliers are reluctant to provide quotes, preferring to engage in discussions only when there are actual orders.
