The methanol price in the Shandong alliance remains stable at 4,500 yuan per ton, with payments made upon delivery. The plants with a capacity of 250,000+250,000+250,000 tons per year are operating at reduced capacity, producing 280 tons per day. The price of methanol produced by Yizhou Technology has increased by 50 yuan per ton, reaching 4,650 yuan per ton; payments are made via bank transfer. A methanol production facility capable of processing 150,000 tons per year from coke oven gas was shut down last night for maintenance, with an uncertain date for its restart. Another facility with a capacity of 150,000 tons per year is operating at reduced capacity, producing around 300 tons per day. Lianhong Chemical (formerly Xinneng Phoenix) has no new price for methanol at present; its 460,000+460,000 tons per year coal-based methanol production facility is operating steadily, with a daily output of around 2,980 tons, which is mainly supplied to Lianhong New Materials’ MTO facility for use in production. Shandong Rongxin Methanol is not providing quotes for the time being; its 250,000 tons per year methanol production facility powered by coke oven gas is operating at reduced capacity. Yankuang Guohong has raised the price of methanol by 40 yuan per ton, to 4,320 yuan per ton for cash payment at the factory. Its 640,000-ton-per-year coal-based methanol production facility operates with two reactors, producing around 1,400 tons per day; maintenance work is planned in the near future.
