For the transformation and upgrading of the coal industry, it is necessary to pursue a path of green and low-carbon development, focusing on promoting the clean and low-carbon use of coal, its diversified applications, as well as efficient storage and transportation. Recently, the trial production of the chemical products manufactured as part of Bosheng Clean Energy Co., Ltd.’s coking upgrading project was a success, marking new progress by Boli County in achieving both green and economic development. This represents a significant breakthrough in advancing our city’s strategy of \"stabilizing coal production, strengthening the foundation, and pursuing transformational development\". It is understood that the Bosheng 18·30 project is a key provincial project. The construction unit is Bosheng Clean Energy Co., Ltd., with a total investment of 2.435 billion yuan. Using chemical coke produced by Lulong Company as raw material, this project employs Sanyu Environmental Protection’s low-pressure ruthenium-based ammonia synthesis technology to produce ammonia and urea through the gasification of chemical coke and anthracite. This project is undertaken by Beijing Hai New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., and it is a key project that aligns with the transformation and upgrading of the coking industry in our province, as well as with the industrial plan aimed at making the most of coal resources. Once the project is completed and put into operation, it will be able to produce 180,000 tons of synthetic ammonia per year, or 300,000 tons of urea, 22,800 tons of LNG products, and 7,200 tons of crude methanol. At the same time, it can be integrated with the Lulong coking plant upstream to create an integrated industrial chain for coal, coke, chemicals, and electricity, generating annual sales revenue of around 1 billion yuan and profits and taxes of 100 million yuan. “Since September last year, joint trial operations have been carried out, including the launch of the project, which has directly created nearly 1,000 jobs and indirectly generated additional employment opportunities. ”Lei Xiaofeng, deputy general manager of Bosheng Clean Energy Co., Ltd., told the reporters.
