When purchasing steel plates, should I go by weight or thickness? How can I get steel plates of the thickness I want? If measured by thickness, there will be errors; manufacturers may cut corners. If measured by weight, they will use thicker steel plates, so the total weight increases while the number of plates remains the same. How do you handle this?
Length * Width * Thickness; the weight is specified in the remarks, and the material is already indicated
There are tolerance requirements; keep it within the thickness range you can accept.
