A 50-cubic-meter tank for Class A B low-toxicity liquids; it has a mild odor, does not aggregate, is resistant to oxidation, and has a boiling point above 50 degrees. In accordance with GB50160 and SH3007, an internal floating roof tank is sufficient. Later, due to environmental regulations, a nitrogen seal was added to the design. Recently, another tank of the same type needs to be constructed. According to the \"Environmental Protection Design Standards for Chemical Engineering Construction Projects\" GB/T50483-2019, Article 5.2.5, Paragraph 2: … For storage tanks used to hold volatile organic liquids with a true vapor pressure of 5.2 kPa or greater but less than 27.6 kPa, and whose design volume is 150 m3 or greater, as well as for tanks used to hold such liquids with a true vapor pressure of 27.6 kPa or greater but less than 76.6 kPa, and whose design volume is 75 m3 or greater, one of the following requirements must be met: 1) Use an internal floating roof tank; in such tanks, an efficient sealing method such as liquid-filled sealing, mechanical shoe-type sealing, or double-sealing should be employed between the floating roof and the tank wall ; …It is said that for VOCs substances that are not subject to strict control, with a volume of less than 75 cubic meters, and a true vapor pressure of 27.6 kPa or higher but less than 76.6 kPa, an internal floating roof tank can be used. Yuan Fang, what do you think?
That tank from Phase 1 was a real pain to modify. Moreover, the environmental protection tests have always met the standards.
It’s easy to adopt a one-size-fits-all approach when handling such matters; currently, internal floating roof tanks combined with nitrogen sealing and oil vapor recovery are the common practices

Nitrogen sealing is a rather complicated process that requires a variety of equipment such as a nitrogen source, nitrogen pipelines, nitrogen control valves, explosion-proof manholes on the storage tanks, oil and gas recovery pipelines, explosion-proof flame arresters, and oil and gas recovery devices. Any problem with one of these devices can cause difficulties. Just choose a good internal floating disk
