The role of this module in the temperature system
It seems to be about converting the thermoresistor into a 4-20mA signal?
The photo below shows the previous module connected by five wires using some unknown protocol; are digital signals or analog signals being transmitted? All use low-level cards!
I’ve never used it; it’s just a guess. The signals from the field go into the module above, where they are converted into redundant digital signals that are then sent to the cards below. There can’t be so few wires for analog signals. As for the best protocol, it’s better to check the hardware manual – Honeywell has its own communication standards
