Regarding Siemens positioners

It turns out that the display screen of a Siemens positioner at the site stopped working; 24V was detected. A new one was installed, but it won’t switch to automatic mode. Please advise, experts
The issue persists; following the steps still does not resolve it
It’s likely that water ingress has caused a malfunction in the motherboard or the piezoelectric valve (the internal components); we have encountered this issue in our company, and in such cases we replace the entire unit
If adjusting it strictly according to the instructions doesn’t work, then replace it with a new one, as it’s not necessarily just the circuit board that is faulty; the piezoelectric valve could also be defective.
