Recently, a friend’s facility wants to install a small PLC system, with around 20 analog inputs and about 50 digital inputs. A Siemens S7 200 or 300 PLC together with a touch screen is intended to be used, for simple logic control purposes only. I’ll purchase the hardware myself and am looking for someone to do the programming. What’s the approximate quote?

If it’s fully outsourced, why buy hardware on your own? Where is the location? Are the conditions met? 200 or 300, screen size or brand – the specific type is uncertain; the range is too wide to give a precise answer.
I’m sorry, I’m not looking for a construction company. If I were as knowledgeable as you, I wouldn’t need help. The prices of hardware are easy to find out; the owner of the small device doesn’t want to spend too much money, so he’s asking for help in checking the costs. He just isn’t familiar with the pricing for configuration services. This has little to do with hardware, right? So those looking to take on work, please stay away
It can be configured separately, at a cost of ten thousand or so; there are no strict standards just for this aspect. When it comes to other services, such as on-site work in remote locations, the costs associated with those must also be taken into account.
