The wireless solution is such that it must be suitable for use with wireless technology; otherwise, both the market and sales efforts would not harm the brand’s reputation. After all, wireless transmission has its limitations. Although the manufacturers claim a refresh time of 1.2, 4, or 8 seconds at the fastest, I personally do not recommend such fast refresh rates. At present, most systems have a refresh rate of one minute, or even longer
Also, for wireless instruments, professional engineers must go to the site to inspect it, assess the conditions on site, and determine the approximate installation location, as well as the number of repeaters required and their installation locations, apart from the measurement points. That’s all. So, if your site is relatively open with no obstructions, or there are only slight obstructions, or even though there are many obstructions but you have sufficient funding to afford more repeaters and your requirements regarding the refresh rate aren’t high, then Emerson’s wireless solution is the best choice.
