I want to know the specific process, from the signal given by the operator in the control room to the actuation of the locator. What processes have taken place, and how are the feedback signals displayed on the console computer. I’m a complete beginner; I hope some expert can help me. Thank you very much

The signals from the control room are sent to the controller → card → terminal board → safety barrier → field locator → feedback on the valve position during operation → safety barrier → terminal board → card → controller → and displayed on the computer
Input, controller, AO card; wires connect these to the on-site valve positioner. The positioner performs electrical conversion, which causes the valve to move. The valve’s feedback rod sends signals back to the positioner, allowing for balance with the OP signal, and then the valve stops moving. The feedback you mentioned refers to one type where the locator has a feedback output, and another type where a separate feedback transmitter is used. The valve position signal can be fed back to the AI card in the cabinet, then to the controller, and finally displayed on the human-machine interface.
