Although I have studied various logic gates in digital circuits, I still can’t understand logic interlock diagrams used in industry. Do any of you experts have specific explanations regarding logic interlock diagrams as they are applied in practice? Thank you all!

Understand based on the logic legend and relevant materials
If you can’t understand something, it’s often not because you can’t decipher the various logical symbols, but rather because you don’t know why certain actions are taken. Things like AND, OR, and NOT may be unclear to you; you can only see what happens when certain elements are combined, but you don’t understand why that is done. You need to remember that all logical operations serve a purpose related to the manufacturing process. Once you understand the process and know what needs to be done at each step, it will become clear to you right away
Generally, IEC diagrams are used, which are quite different from the diagrams used in digital logic courses.
