I would like to ask how to connect differential pressure transmitters to the steam side and water side of a single-chamber balanced vessel for measuring the drum water level How to set the transmitter range in DCS
Connect the transmitter to the positive side on the steam side, and to the negative side on the water side； The range is the static pressure between the pressure sensing ports at the top and bottom of the bubble.

How is the range of a transmitter set in DCS? It depends on the operator’s preference: it can be 0---100%, or 0-----800mm, or -500---500mm. In any case, it is linearly related to the signal output by the level gauge.
