1. For mass flow meters, those from Emerson and E+H perform well – they are durable with a low failure rate. I’ve used a few models from Yokogawa as well, and they were acceptable. Among domestic mass flow meters, those from Xi’an Dongfeng have a higher failure rate; I haven’t used any other domestic brands.
2. For electromagnetic flow meters, those from Coriolis are good. ABB’s models from ten years ago worked fine, but in recent years they have had many issues and poor after-sales support.
3. As for vortex flow meters, those from Emerson and E+H are excellent. I used a Yokogawa model to measure steam at 1.0 MPa; it started leaking after more than a year of use. This might have been an individual case, so I didn’t dare use it again afterward.
4. For measuring liquids with ultrasonic flow meters, those from Siemens and E+H work well. GE’s models seem a bit clunky and don’t perform as well – this could be related to installation. According to the manufacturer’s after-sales service, Emerson, GE, and Coriolis are suitable for measuring natural gas. That’s all for now; I hope everyone can offer their advice. Jiangsu Weiyi Electronics’ vibration-resistant vortex flow meters can be considered part of this category.
1. For metal rotor flowmeters, it is recommended to choose those produced by Chengde Coronie (a cooperative factory of Cologne). Both quality and lifespan are good. 2. The orifice plate was used in Beijing... I can’t remember; it seemed okay. For use with transmitters, Yokogawa EJA is the reliable choice. 3. For wedge flow meters, we used Chengde Feishibote’s products; they have been in use for 5 years now and are still performing well. 4. For mechanical rotary water meters, choose Ningbo Water Meter Factory; avoid other options – they’re simply too poor in quality. Additional comment from the original poster: 5. For mass flow measurement, HighAccu is the preferred choice; it has been in use under extremely harsh conditions for 15 years, and it remained robust even when it retired.
