There is a steam flow meter with large fluctuations; when measuring under positive pressure as well as under negative pressure, the root valves leak. It’s not possible to use an isolation tank to contain the liquid – does anyone have any good solutions?
If the internal leakage is not severe, after draining it, add a sealing fluid; replace the plug on the isolation tank with a ball valve, fill it up, and then close the ball valve – that’s it
While steam is not in use, turn off the steam, replace the flow meter valve, and then fill it with isolation fluid!

How can internal leakage affect the isolation fluid? With high steam pressure, it’s not possible to stop the system for replacement unless there is an external leak; in that case, it can be welded shut
If there’s really a leak, then no isolation fluid needs to be added; using heat tracing is also an option
It’s just an internal leak; what’s the pressure? The drain was removed directly.
If it’s not possible to pour in liquid, just wait for the steam to cool down and turn into condensate. As long as there is no gas phase in the pressure tap tube, it’s fine.
Isn’t measuring steam done by using a condensation tank? Then why is an isolation fluid needed, and what is its purpose?
The condensate (water) can be pumped into the pressure guide tube and condensation tank using a manual pressure testing pump, via the exhaust plug on the transmitter. The pressure of the pressure testing pump just needs to be higher than that of the steam.
