It’s very convenient to make changes using a handheld controller. Or, through the HART loop, some parameters can be changed, provided that those parameters can be read and written via HART.
There are two commonly used protocols for Yokogawa transmitters. 1. The BRAIN protocol requires the Yokogawa BT200 handheld programmer for debugging. II. The HART protocol can be configured using Emerson’s HART475 and the latest TREX handheld devices.
