Can the terminal transfer cabinet be installed in a non-explosion-proof cabinet room?

I have a project to renovate an old factory, involving the construction of a new blast-proof control room (including a cabinet room) throughout the facility. The instrument cables for all Class A and B devices need to be led to the newly built cabinet room. Since some devices are located at a distance, rewiring all the cables would require a great deal of work. Therefore, I am considering whether it would be possible to install terminal conversion cabinets in the existing control room (which is not explosion-proof and located outside the explosion-hazard area); in that case, only cables connecting the terminal conversion cabinets to the newly built explosion-proof cabinets would need to be installed. I’m not sure if this approach is feasible; I would be very grateful if everyone could share their insights
