I’m new to this field and have encountered a rather confusing issue; I would appreciate everyone’s advice: why does an electrical signal need to form a circuit? Can’t the signal be sent using just one core? Or is there a common core that is connected to the negative pole uniformly? For example, in unbalanced transmission, a coaxial cable has only one core – isn’t that not enough to form a circuit?
