Those who are experts, could you tell us how long a distance they have actually traveled?
Take a cable that is one or two ten thousand meters long – short-circuit one end of it and use a multimeter to check; if the multimeter shows a connection, then the DCS will be able to receive the signal. If that isn’t sufficient, try using several such cables. After all, since we don’t have factory areas that are several ten thousand meters long, there’s no need to worry about this issue
Receiving dry contact signals is related to the card model and resistance value. ON signal: 150Ω or less, OFF signal: At least 200 kΩ
