It broke due to stress! The quality of Cologne is fairly good; even manufacturers with a large reputation can have problems from time to time.
It must be because of the analysis on the third floor. Didn’t you read the installation instructions before installing it?:D
Cologne is also a well-known manufacturer of flowmeters. Personally, I think the case mentioned by the original poster is an isolated instance; one should look for the reasons in aspects such as selection, manufacturing, installation, and operation/maintenance.
Cologne’s 6000 series is quite good. In the original poster’s case, it was due to improper installation. This is a measuring tube on a millimeter scale; it is very thin. Although it is connected via flanges, it is best not to subject it to any stress, and the mounting plate at its bottom should be secured. Additionally, the transmitter head is relatively heavy, so a split-type design is advisable.
