Precautions for installing intelligent vortex flowmeters: 1. The flow sensor can be installed in a vertical, horizontal, or any inclined position, according to the direction indicators. 2. When the pipeline is long or located close to a vibration source, supports should be installed upstream and downstream of the flow meter to eliminate the effects of pipeline vibration. 3. The installation location of the flow sensor should provide sufficient space for the inspection and maintenance of the flow meter, and it should meet the environmental requirements of the flow meter. 4. Interference from external strong magnetic fields should be avoided. 5. When installed and used outdoors, it should be covered to prevent exposure to direct sunlight and rainwater, which could affect the service life of the instrument. 6. During pipeline pressure testing, attention should be paid to the pressure measurement range of the pressure sensor installed in the intelligent vortex flow meter, to prevent damage to the sensor due to excessive pressure. 7. Attention should be paid to the effects of installation stress; the pipes upstream and downstream of the flow meter must be coaxial, otherwise shear stress will be generated. The location where the flow meter is installed should take into account the thickness of the sealing gasket, or an elastic expansion joint should be installed on the downstream side.
