Is it allowed to install a complete set of equipment in Class A workshops, with PLC control built into it? If permitted, what safety requirements are needed for PLC control?
It is allowed to use a built-in PLC, but the explosion-proof rating of the PLC must meet the design requirements
Can a PLC control cabinet with touch screen operation be placed in the workshop? Then may I ask if this type of PLC cabinet can be made in an explosion-proof version? Can touch screens be made explosion-proof?
Either is possible; the PLC control cabinet can be designed as a positive-pressure ventilation type or an explosion-proof type. There are also explosion-proof models of PLC touchscreens, or isolation measures can be adopted
If isolation is used, how does one operate the touchscreen?
