Model ZY-MI-NP: The diameter of the discharge port at the extrusion discharge section is Φ2.095±0.005 millimeters, and the length of the discharge port is 8.000±0.025 millimeters. The diameter of the feeding cylinder is Φ9.550±0.025 millimeters, and its length is 162±0.1 millimeters. The diameter of the piston rod tip is 9.475±0.015 millimeters, while the length of the piston rod tip is 6.350±0.100 millimeters. There are 8 levels of standard test loads available, along with a full set of weights. The display resolution is 0.1℃. The cutting method can be set to manual or automatic. The temperature recovery time is less than 4 minutes. The temperature range is from normal room temperature up to 400℃ (500℃ is also an option). The power supply voltage is AC220V±10% at 50HZ. Temperature control accuracy is ±0.1℃. Features and applications: This is a new model of automatic melt index tester that automatically loads weights, performs weight measurement, and carries out calculations. With just one measurement, it is possible to use either the mass-based or volume-based methods for analysis. 1. Five independent temperature control systems are available; each heating jacket is equipped with a platinum resistance sensor, allowing for individual temperature control. The temperature range can be set from room temperature up to 500 degrees. Each temperature control system has at least 10 PID groups, and the heating rate can be adjusted by setting the slope of temperature increase. 2. The temperature resolution is 0.1 degrees, the temperature uniformity is 0.2 degrees, and the temperature fluctuation within 24 hours does not exceed 0.5 degrees. The resolution of the displacement sensor is 0.01 mm. 3. The fully automatic melt index tester features temperature protection; if the temperature rises above a set value, an alarm sound is emitted and heating stops automatically. 4. The cutting device is driven by a single-step motor that rotates a scraper, and it is possible to set how often the motor should rotate via the screen, with the time setting range ranging from 0.1S to 999S. 5. During testing, either the mass method or the volume method can be chosen, or both methods can be used simultaneously, allowing for the calculation of the flow rate ratio. In both methods, testing begins when the piston rod moves to a certain position. 6. Once the temperature reaches and stabilizes at the set value, a sound signal is emitted. After adding the plastic material, pressing a menu button starts a 240-second countdown; another sound signal is given after 240 seconds (this time period can be adjusted, as per national standards the testing should begin 4 minutes after adding the plastic material, while American standards require 6 minutes). 7. Customers may use various types of materials, and setting parameters each time can be cumbersome. It is possible to set the test parameters, give them a name, and save them; these parameters can then be retrieved and used later. The device has a memory function that retains the last set of parameters after power-up, thus avoiding the need for customers to reset them repeatedly. 8. Control is carried out via a touchscreen – a 7-inch touchscreen that allows storage and printing of the latest 50 (or 20 sets) of test conditions and data. 9. An automatic weight-loading system is available, enabling various test loads to be applied without the need to replace weights. 10. The fully automatic melt index apparatus can be equipped with an internal automatic weighing system, eliminating the need to purchase separate weighing equipment. 11. This fully automatic melt index apparatus complies with the standards ISO 1133, ASTM D1238, and GB/T3682. Chemical industry discussions
