Hello, esteemed colleagues. Without further ado, let’s take a look at the images. The butterfly valves and flap valves with flow rate adjustment functions shown in the images have valve codes marked as XV and FV, right? My material is in powder form, not liquid. Most of the valves used serve to shut off flow, with butterfly valves being the most common type. I need to create a PID diagram; I’m not sure if this way of representing it is correct. All control points are connected to the DCS system for control purposes. I’m not an expert in this field – I’ve learned about PID diagrams through self-study and by imitating examples. I’m worried that clients might laugh at my efforts, which is why I’m seeking advice from everyone here.

I still have a question regarding the issue of conflicting control point numbers. For example, if one motor requires a manual remote switch (HS) and another butterfly valve also needs a manual remote switch (HS), then won’t their numerical codes overlap?
When doing design, one must first decide which standards and specifications to use as a basis, or predefine the legend symbols and numbers. What is the rhombus with a box around it in the image? According to HG/T 20505 2014, do these symbols represent SIS systems? ?
