🔣 No gas detectors are installed at the air intake of the control room to detect toxic chemicals; The control room does not provide monitoring of the status of the ventilation facilities. Standard requirements: 1. According to Article 4.4.3 of the \"Design Code for Detection and Alarm of Flammable and Toxic Gases in Petrochemical Industries\" (GB/T 50493-2019), flammable gas and (or) toxic gas detectors should be installed in areas where such gases may enter the building, such as the air intake openings for air conditioning in control rooms and cabinet rooms. 2. According to Article 7.4.5 of the \"Code for Blast Resistance Design of Petrochemical Buildings\" (GB/T 50779-2022), electric sealed valves shall be installed on the air ducts entering and leaving blast-resistant buildings. When there is a risk that combustible gases and toxic gases may enter the fresh air intake, a detector and alarm for such gases should be installed near the intake. When a combustible or toxic gas detector gives an alarm, the closed valves should be automatically shut off, and systems such as fresh air fans and exhaust fans should be stopped. According to Article 4.10.3 of the \"Code for Design of Petrochemical Control Rooms\" (SH/T 3006-2024), gas detectors for combustible gases and/or toxic gases should be installed at the air intake points for air conditioning in the control room, as well as at the openings through which cable trays and ducts enter the control room, where there is a risk of such gases entering. The design shall comply with the requirements of GB/T50493. Article 4.6.6: The air conditioning system in the control room shall comply with the following requirements: a) The operation signals of the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems as well as the public alarm signals should be fed into the control system for monitoring; b) Even when the production units are shut down for maintenance, power supply sufficient for the normal operation of the air conditioning system must still be ensured. 4. According to Article 5.8.4 of the \"Safety Regulations for the Production of Phosgene and Phosgenated Products\" (GB 19041-2024), the central control room must maintain a proper positive pressure ventilation condition. Toxic gas and combustible gas detection alarms should be installed at the air intake points for air conditioning. Electric isolation valves with good sealing properties should be installed on both the intake and exhaust ducts, and these valves should be interlocked with the detectors for combustible and toxic gases. When a combustible or toxic gas detector gives an alarm, the closed valves as well as the fresh air fan and exhaust fan should be shut down via interlock, switching to internal circulation.
