It is reported that, in accordance with the overall guiding principles set by the relevant provincial authorities and the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Jiangsu Province for Su New Energy’s activities this year, efforts will be focused on five key areas: 1. Coordinating the acquisition of necessary coal resources. In the first half of the year, efforts will be made to obtain approval from the autonomous region for the transfer of the prospecting rights for Well No. 1 in the Dayabut mining area of the Baiyanghe mine district, so as to carry out the preliminary work for the approval of this coal mining project. II. For the connection plan of the Biyou coal-to-gas transmission pipeline, conduct thorough market research. III. Relying on the **support and promotion of the two provinces and regions, introduce strategic partners to further optimize the company’s equity structure and governance structure. IV. On the basis of improving coal-based fuel projects, strengthen research on coal-based chemicals, develop plans for coal-based circular industries as soon as possible, strive to implement such projects in the industrial park, and promote local economic development. Adhere to scientific management of the project company, complete the infrastructure construction tasks, optimize the organizational and personnel structure, and ensure that all key objectives and tasks are carried out in a solid and orderly manner. The Su New Energy coal-to-gas project is a strategic cooperation initiative for clean energy development between Jiangsu and Xinjiang provinces. It is the first coal-to-gas project among those whose preliminary work was approved during the same period to receive official approval. On October 21, 2016, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the “Reply on the Approval of the Demonstration Project for Producing 4 billion standard cubic meters of coal-derived natural gas per year by Jiangsu New Energy and Feng Co., Ltd.” (Document No. FGNY [2016] 2280), giving consent for the project to commence construction. On April 29, 2016, the **Ministry of Environmental Protection approved the Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Su New Energy and Feng Co., Ltd.’s 4 billion standard cubic meters per year coal-to-natural gas project**. The project is primarily tasked with carrying out demonstration projects for the industrial application of autonomous methanation catalysts and related process technologies. The project selects fixed-bed pressurized gasification and pulverized coal pressurized gasification to produce raw gas; the raw gas is purified into syngas through partial sulfur-tolerant shift and low-temperature methanol washing, and the syngas is then used in methanation to produce synthetic natural gas (SNG). Su New Energy and Feng Co., Ltd. is a coal-based clean energy development entity approved by the relevant authorities of Jiangsu Province, established under the leadership of the Jiangsu State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. It was founded with funding from five major provincial-owned enterprises: Xumine Group, Guoxin Group, Transportation Holding Group, Suhao Group, and Huihong Group. Under the direct supervision of these authorities, the company serves as the implementing entity for the \"Agreement on Deepening Strategic Cooperation in Clean Energy between Jiangsu and Xinjiang.\" It is tasked with carrying out initiatives aimed at providing industrial support to Xinjiang as well as facilitating the supply of gas from Xinjiang to Jiangsu. The company takes over all responsibilities related to Xumine Group’s Taicheng He Feng project, which involves the production of 4 billion cubic meters of coal-based natural gas per year, as well as subsequent projects, in order to build a coal-based clean energy base in Taicheng, Jiangsu Province.
