The total investment for Xinjiang Zhongtai New Energy Co., Ltd.’s 1.8 million tons per year coal-to-methanol project is 12.08 billion yuan; the production capacity is 1.8 million tons per year of methanol ; The total investment for the coal-based new materials upgrading demonstration project is 8.863 billion yuan, with a production capacity of 400,000 tons per year of polypropylene and 300,000 tons per year of high-density polyethylene. Project Scope: The main components of the project include an olefin production facility from methanol (comprising a methanol-to-olefins unit, an olefin separation unit, and an olefin cracking unit), a polypropylene production facility (including an additive feeding system, a catalytic activation system, multi-zone loop reactor polymerization, polymer degassing and monomer recycling, polymerization of impact-resistant polymers, polymer degassing and ethylene stripping, polymer vaporization and tail gas recovery, additive feeding and extrusion granulation, monomer purification, etc.), and a high-density polyethylene production facility (including catalyst preparation, monomer purification, polymerization reactions, hydrogen recovery and purification, polymer degassing, and extrusion granulation).
