The boiler drying process for the Yanzhou Coal Yulin Polydimethyl ether project, which is under the general contracting of Tianchen Company, was successfully completed. On June 8th, in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements regarding the boiler drying process, 168 hours of continuous operation were carried out, and the high-temperature, high-pressure coal powder boiler used in this project was successfully dried. This marks the entry of the boiler into the commissioning phase, laying a solid foundation for starting up the boiler and generating steam on schedule, as well as for the completion of the project. Since the successful pressure testing of the boiler on March 29, the project team organized everything carefully, and the construction unit worked tirelessly. The boiler underwent various preparatory tasks prior to its operation: installation of refractory materials, setup of temporary desalinated water pipelines, installation of fuel pipelines, installation of compressed air pipelines, operation of the valves related to the boiler, installation of a drying machine, erection of three temporary smoke barriers inside the furnace, as well as cutting of moisture drainage holes in the slag pit, burner, and economizer. All these actions ensured that the safety evacuation routes around the boiler framework remained unobstructed. After the boiler drying plan and all related preparatory work were approved by the owner, the supervisor, and Tianchen Company, the boiler drying process for the thermal power plant officially commenced. With unity across the project team, various unexpected issues that arose during the furnace heating process were overcome. The relevant personnel handled these situations promptly in accordance with the established plans, working together to lay a solid foundation for the smooth progress of subsequent work on this project and to ensure its successful completion.
