Over the past few days, Rongxin Chemical has taken into account the actual situation of one set of systems being under maintenance and another set still in operation, implementing detailed measures for precise control. It focuses on carrying out systematic maintenance work in an orderly manner while also ensuring the stable operation of the facilities, thereby being determined to overcome this challenge related to maintenance and production stability. This maintenance campaign focuses on replacing the hydrogenation catalyst in the Ethylene Glycol Synthesis Line A; there are 21 maintenance tasks in total, and the duration of the maintenance is expected to be 35 days. The company proactively coordinated with qualified external maintenance contractors to enter Dalate Banner. In strict accordance with local epidemic prevention and control requirements as well as regulations for outsiders entering the premises, these contractors were placed under centralized quarantine and required to provide relevant documents, such as nucleic acid test certificates, before being allowed entry. Organize technical management personnel, team leaders, and front-line workers to receive training on business knowledge, safety and environmental protection, as well as scientific and civilized maintenance practices; provide training to external contractors on maintenance safety and emergency response capabilities. Upon the arrival of the catalyst, staff from the coal preparation workshop shall be arranged to drive the catalyst transport vehicle into the plant; once the catalyst is unloaded in the ethylene glycol area, the vehicle shall leave the plant. Catalyst transport drivers are strictly prohibited from entering the plant. Currently, the removal of catalysts from four hydrogenation reactors is underway in full swing. Beneath the discharge ports of these reactors, the area is tightly enclosed by color-coated steel sheets and colored striped fabric to prevent any catalyst spillage or dispersion of catalyst powder. The loading and unloading of the catalyst requires 24 hours of continuous work, and the ethylene glycol team members wearing green safety vests also need to work in three shifts. During the maintenance of Set A for ethylene glycol production, the company continued to optimize the operation of the system by shutting down Boiler No. 1 and Set A of the air separation unit at appropriate times. The syngas that used to go into the ethylene glycol production system was redirected to the first-phase synthesis system, resulting in a 5% increase in the daily methanol production volume. By shutting down the ethylene glycol distillation system, approximately 105 tons of steam are saved per hour, resulting in cost savings of over 400,000 yuan per day. Strengthen the control of coal blending ratios, optimize the composition of feed gas and process operation parameters to ensure the stable operation of the system. Relevant workshops adjust or shut down equipment such as circulating water systems, in order to minimize the consumption of common media.
