DMTO is produced using a fluidized-bed reactor; the catalyst used is a SAPO-34 molecular sieve catalyst, which is primarily composed of silicon-aluminum phosphate. Phosphorus is supplied in the form of phosphoric acid, silicon in the form of silica, and aluminum in the form of alumina – all of which are combined through various processing steps to form this catalyst. Currently, the market offers Shenhua’s own catalysts, as well as Grace’s catalysts. There are also ZheDa’s first-generation and second-generation catalysts; the second generation yields higher results, but other details are unknown. They are basically similar; it’s just that the proportions of the main components may differ in order to avoid patent conflicts. I roughly understand that much
