The pouring of the main framework for the Xi Feng Hang No. 2 gasification and environmental protection comprehensive renovation project is in full swing. It is understood that the main framework of the gasification facility is a reinforced concrete frame structure with 7 floors, and its height is 37 meters. Due to the high difficulty of constructing the gasification framework, the project team for the comprehensive environmental protection renovation of Gasification Unit 2 worked together with the technical personnel from the construction contractor before starting work to develop a specialized construction plan based on the construction drawings and the actual conditions on site. This plan was then organized and submitted for expert review, which it passed. To ensure the timely completion of the project, the entire project team worked as one, formulating detailed construction plans and measures for each stage, and implementing strict supervision throughout the construction process. To date, the third layer of pouring for the gasification framework has been completed. It is reported that the environmental protection comprehensive improvement project for Xi Fengtian Company’s No. 2 gasification system was carried out as an upgrade in response to the \"2019 Action Plan for Winning the Battle to Protect the Blue Skies in Shanxi Province\" and other relevant local regulations. It upgrades the gasification process while maintaining the original scale and production capacity; the existing 10 φ2650 intermittent gas generation furnaces are replaced with 5 φ3600 pure-oxygen continuous gasification furnaces, along with a 16,000 Nm3/h cryogenic air separation unit. The subsequent purification, compression, synthesis units, auxiliary production facilities, and utility systems are adapted using the existing infrastructure. The production capacity remains unchanged after the upgrade, offering the company effective ways to reduce production costs, improve environmental management, and optimize its industrial structure.
