I’ve been studying hard, but I feel a bit lost these days; I hope those who are more experienced can offer some guidance.
Start with outdoor tasks, then move on to indoor tasks, and eventually become a deputy squad leader, squad leader, or technician! Field operations: One must memorize the on-site procedures, as well as the locations of valves and equipment ； Basic operating methods for pump and compressor machines ； Theoretical knowledge must be solid! One and a half years at least in field work!
Our company is a newly established chemical plant. I want to take advantage of the fact that we’re just starting up to seize opportunities and strive for progress. However, as we are new to this field and don’t have any experienced colleagues around to guide us, we’ve felt a bit lost at times. Every day, we spend time learning the company’s operating procedures, studying training materials, creating flowcharts, practicing through simulations, and taking exams. It’s been going on for almost a year now, and I’m not sure what value these efforts we’re making still hold for my future development. That’s why I’d like to ask those who are more experienced for some advice, so that I can be confident about which actions will be most beneficial for my future growth.
