“The achievement related to the development and industrialization of the Intelligent Operation Management & Control System for large-scale industrial processes (i-OMC) was evaluated by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. On May 8, an evaluation meeting for this scientific and technological achievement, carried out under the leadership of companies such as Zhejiang Zhongkong Technology Co., Ltd., was held in a hybrid online-and-offline format under the auspices of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation. Other units involved in this appraisal include Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd. of Sinopec Corporation, and Jiujiang Branch of Sinopec Corporation, among others. Addressing the technical challenges associated with large-scale process industries, such as long production processes, large-scale equipment, difficulties in achieving continuous and stable control, high energy consumption, and stringent requirements for production safety, Zhongkong Technology has developed a series of software and hardware components for an intelligent operation and management system for entire industrial processes. These components cover functions such as basic control, production monitoring, advanced control, real-time optimization, operational management, and operational simulation. The achievements of this project are widely applied in large-scale refining and chemical production facilities such as Sinopec and CNPC, addressing major engineering challenges related to process control in large-scale industrial operations, and bringing significant economic and social benefits.
