The green petrochemical industry is one of the 12 key industrial chains that Tianjin is focusing on developing. During this May Day holiday, good news came again regarding the relocation and renovation project: the last key unit was tested and put into operation, marking the completion of Phase 1 of the project and officially ushering in a 30-day countdown to completion. Today, the last process unit of the first phase of the integration and renovation project began trial operation. For Bohua, this methanol-to-olefins production line is not only the core unit of the entire project but also a unit that has been added to the petrochemical industry chain following the relocation of the two facilities. After the commissioning of the trial operation, the methanol-to-olefins production line will require about 30 days of stable operation before it can be put into full production; it is expected to start operating officially by the end of May. This will also mark the completion of the entire first phase of the industrial relocation project. Through green and efficient processing technologies as well as intelligent control methods, the project will achieve a 27% reduction in energy consumption per 10,000 yuan of output value. While reducing emissions, the integration of upstream and downstream segments of the industrial chain will enable the entire petrochemical industry to achieve green and high-quality development.
