Zhongkong signed a contract for the GDS system with Ejin Horo Jianyuan Coal Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. Author/Source: Huahua Network – Coal Chemical Industry. Date: 2018-12-13. Clicks: 12. On December 7, Zhongkong signed a contract regarding the GDS system with Ejin Horo Jianyuan Coal Chemical Technology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Jianyuan Coal Chemical Technology). To date, all contracts for the industrial control systems of the first phase of the Jianyuan Coal Chemical Technology project, for which Zhongkong won the bid, have been signed. This project includes a coking complex with an annual capacity of 2.8 million tons, a coal tar hydrogenation facility with an annual capacity of 250,000 tons, a facility for converting coke oven gas into LNG with an annual capacity of 300,000 tons, and an ethylene glycol production plant with an annual capacity of 600,000 tons. Etuoke Banner Jianyuan Coal Coking Co., Ltd. was established in 2005 and is located in the Qipanjing Industrial Park in Etuoke Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. It is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inner Mongolia Sanwei Resources Group Company. The production capacity has been established at 3.5 million tons of coking coal per year, 6 million tons of raw coal processed annually, 1 million tons of compacted coke per year, 200,000 tons of crude benzene processed annually, and 50,000 tons of LNG per year. The company has adopted a development strategy that focuses on coal mining as the core activity, with washing and processing playing a supporting role; it aims to expand its coal resources significantly, while also pursuing comprehensive utilization and advanced processing of coal chemicals. The company is making every effort to advance the upgrade projects for mines capable of producing 5 million tons of coking coal per year, as well as the construction of projects that enable the production of 5 million tons of coke per year, along with 250,000 tons of coal tar hydrogenated products and 300,000 tons of LNG. It is reported that this project represents the first time that Zhongkong’s industrial control system solutions, which are based on its own intellectual property, have been applied in the entire plant facilities of a coal-based cogeneration project. This marks a breakthrough for Zhongkong, as its SIS (TCS-900), CCS (T9100, T5100), and HD series of safety barriers, all of which are based on its own intellectual property, have now been successfully implemented in modern coal chemical plants. Modern coal chemical integrated production plants require extremely high levels of reliability, stability, and the ability to form large-scale networks in terms of industrial control systems, which indicates that Zhongkong’s capabilities in terms of products, engineering services, and comprehensive solutions are at the leading level in the industry. Through preliminary discussions, analysis and optimization of complex control strategies, as well as communication, optimization, and repeated evaluation of the overall solution for the plant’s industrial control systems, experts in the DCS industry will provide Jianyuan Coal Chemical with an integrated solution that combines DCS, SIS, CCS, and GDS systems. This approach enables integration between the distributed control system and the safety instrumented system, as well as between the safety instrumented system and the unit control systems and combustible/toxic gas detection systems. The successful application of domestic industrial control system products, services, and comprehensive solutions in coal-based cogeneration projects has effectively ensured the safety of major basic chemical facilities that are crucial to the country’s economy and people’s livelihoods, as well as the security of industrial control systems, after-sales maintenance, and rapid service delivery. It lays the foundation for improving the automation, digitalization, and intelligence levels of the modern coal chemical industry, enabling the construction of first-class intelligent coal chemical plants, and contributes to enhancing enterprise safety, environmental protection, quality, efficiency, and energy conservation.
